magpie productions is a small, creative, nonprofit production company specializing in the literary, acoustic and visual arts. It is run by a Board of Directors who serve without fee or obligation.

Working through its affiliate, inkling press, magpie produces small run acoustic recordings, e.g. compact disc recordings of poetry published by Inkling.

magpie will also produce small runs of art videos: creative presentation of poetry readings; creative presentation of musical performances; creative presentation of art exhibitions; creative presentation of multimedia, e.g. poetry and painting, poetry and drama, etc.

magpie always works with a sponsor/artist with whom it shares the financial responsibility, more or less equally, while assuming full responsibility for production and distribution.

magpie can not accept unsolicited proposals but always welcomes queries accompanied by an S.A.S.E. (or I.R.C.).
